2.3 Usage and device information

Like most websites, we may automatically receive technical information about your visit: browser type and version, operating system, device category, referring URL, pages viewed, and approximate country. We use this in aggregate to improve performance and content.

2.4 Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small set of cookies and local-storage entries. Specifically:

  • Theme preference — stored in your browser's localStorage as cc_theme so the site remembers your light/dark choice.
  • Analytics cookies (only if you opt-in via the cookie banner) used by third-party analytics to count anonymised visits.
  • Advertising cookies (only if we serve ads) used by ad partners to limit ad frequency and measure performance. These do not identify you personally.

We use industry-standard transport-layer security (HTTPS/TLS) for our domain and we restrict internal access to production systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we work diligently to reduce risk. Calculator inputs never leave your device, so most of your activity with CryptoCorax is private by design.

  • Calculator inputs are not retained by us at all.
  • Contact-form submissions are retained for as long as needed to support you and for a reasonable audit window (typically 24 months).
  • Analytics data is retained in aggregated form.
